Hello Flight Fans

The 2022-23 Carter-Riverside basketball season has ended, one game longer than originally scheduled.

The varsity boys' basketball team earned a tie for fourth place in 4A Region II District 9 with Benbrook. The tie resulted in a play-in game between the Eagles and Bobcats. CRHS came up short in the game and didn't advance to the Bi-district playoff game; however, we did earn post season play for the first time in several years. The varsity recorded several single season highs including the most wins, winning percentage and most points scored in recent history.

The JV boys also had a successful season, even though the wins and losses didn't add up to the totals the guys had hoped for. Growth, physically and mentally, as well as continued skill development are a big part of sub varsity sports.

The basketball program was led by a core group of seniors and has already started to prepare for next season with off-season strength and conditioning.

Individual awards will be announced at the Winter Sports Banquet to be held shortly after the soccer season ends.

Thank you for your continued support of the Carter-Riverside Eagles' Flight School! Check back often for updates on spring and summer schedules.
