Dustin Pleasant
Coach Pleasant enters his 1st year at Carter Riverside as the Athletic Coordinator & Head Football Coach. He is entering his 14th year in coaching. Previous stop was at Leander Rouse as the Offensive Coordinator & Head Boys track Coach. During his four years at Leander Rouse, he helped lead the Raiders to four consecutive playoff appearances and broke multiple offensive school records. 2020 was named the Central TX Offensive Coach of the Year and developed Mason Shorb who was 2020 number 1 leading passer in the state followed by 2021 passing leader of 5A- D2 in the state of TX. 2020 Dave Campbells most improved offense averaging 43.9 points a game.
Coach Pleasant played Quarterback at Temple HS and graduated in 2001. Started at Wide Receiver for the University of Wyoming in multiple games as a true freshman and sophomore year. Later transferred to Tarleton State University where he finished playing football & graduated in 2007.
